Thomson was named for Dr. James William Thomson, faculty member from 1898-30 and dean of the college. Constructed in two wings separated by the university's main dining location, it serves as a co-ed residence hall. Renovations in 1989 included the addition of an east entrance.

Interesting Features:

  • The dining center offers three meals per day throughout the school year, including daily vegetarian selections, salad, cereal and potato bars, omelet station, deli and pasta areas, etc.
